Yoga – Fitness Class @ Indiana Government Center South - Conference Room B

Join us for a relaxing Yoga class from noon to 1 p.m. in the IGC-S Conference Room B. This class is open to anyone, regardless of fitness level, or yoga experience. Zumba – Fitness Class @ Indiana Government South - Conference Room B

Join us for an invigorating Zumba workout from noon to 1 p.m. in the IGC-South Conference Room B. Zumba mixes low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness class. Its fun and effective, using interval training combining fast and slow rhythms for an effective aerobic workout while feeling like your following simple dance moves. This class is for all fitness levels, so don’t hesitate to join the fun. Dress comfortably for activity and bring water to stay hydrated. The class may be full class so plan accordingly as well. Jazzercise – Fitness Class @ Indiana Statehouse -South Lawn

The word “Jazzercise” may remind you of 80’s and color spandex, but the dance moves and strength conditioning is absolutely modern and 21st century. Torch fat, sculpt lean muscle and crush calories for a high intensity workout that mixes dance-based cardio with strength training. Fresh pulse-pounding music and body-blasting moves bring the intensity to transform your body, boost your mood and ignite your energy. Where else can you burn up to 600-800 calories per hour (cph)? If you are entering from the tunnels, take the stairs to the second floor (you can also swipe your badge to access the library’s elevator). Take a right when you exit the stairs or elevator and follow the signs to the History Reference Room. (Please note: due to security, the Senate Avenue door is not currently available as a public entrance. Plan to enter via the tunnel or Ohio Street.)
