Taking care of others – and yourselfposted by Brent Brown on November 17, 2020
If you’re caring for a loved one, it’s important to take care of yourself too.
Anthem’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can help. The Anthem EAP is a free service available to all full-time state employees and their household, and can be a beneficial tool to improve overall well-being.
EAP specialists can help you manage your situation and find helpful resources. You can get support for going back to work after taking leave and you can also get connected with services like counseling, child care, and senior housing.
Each household member can access eight free face-to-face counseling sessions with a licensed therapist per issue, per year. These tools and resources are available 24/7 and are completely confidential.
