Government Center Clinic
Did you know the Government Center Clinic by OurHealth has Anthem EAP providers and an ActiveHealth health coach in addition to the OurHealth medical team? This means you can access counseling, health coaching, and medical services like physicals and sick visits all in one convenient location – your Government Center Clinic!
With this convenient clinic option, you can save time – and paid time off – by visiting the facility for your immediate care needs. Wait times are typically only about five minutes, and primary care visits average between 20 and 40 minutes.
Scheduling an appointment
Clinic hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
*The clinic is closed on all holidays observed by the State of Indiana.
View the Online Appointment Scheduling Guide for details about how to schedule an appointment at the clinic. You can also schedule an appointment by phone at 317-537-9764. A representative will be available to answer your call from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Appointments can be made in person or over the phone prior to creating an account.
Note: All members of a health plan sponsored by the State Personnel Department age 3 and older can visit the clinic.
Same-day appointments are available. Walk-ins will be scheduled for the next available appointment time. Staffing levels will be continually monitored to ensure same-day appointments as often as possible. In the event of a late-day walk-in, an appointment will be scheduled for the earliest available time within the clinic’s operating hours.
If you aren’t able to visit the clinic, you can also use your phone to see a licensed healthcare provider 24/7 through LiveHealth Online. With LiveHealth Online, you can see a board-certified doctor for $49 or less via video by using your smartphone, tablet or webcam-equipped computer. Medical Services with the OurHealth Medical Team
The OurHealth clinic is open to any State of Indiana Employees, spouses, and dependents three years of age or older who are enrolled in a State Personnel Department medical plan. The clinic is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The clinic is equipped to meet your preventive care needs, help you manage your chronic conditions and treat illnesses.
Dental Exams provided by Complete Dental
Dental services will be available every Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Government Center Clinic beginning December 17, 2019. Appointments can be scheduled with Dr. Michael Hoagburg, DDS at Completedentalatgovernmentcenterclinic.com or by calling (317) 779-3579.
Complete Dental is dedicated to helping you and your dependents achieve and maintain a bright, beautiful, and healthy smile. Services will include preventative care and cleanings, oral cancer screenings, Invisalign Clear Aligners, tooth-colored fillings, crowns and bridges, dentures and partials, teeth whitening, and endontics.

Vision Exams with OnSight Eyes
Comprehensive eye exams will be available by appointment every Wednesday from 8AM – 4PM in the Government Center Clinic beginning December 18, 2019. Employees and dependents can schedule an appointment by visiting www.onsight.vision/Indiana or calling (857) 293-9252.
OnSight will also have glasses and contact lenses for sale. You do not need to have an exam to browse and buy glasses or contact.

Health Coaching with the ActiveHealth Health Coach
Health Coach Sarah Anderson is at the clinic, by appointment only, Monday through Thursday. All State of Indiana Employees, spouses, and dependents age 18 and older who are enrolled in a State Personnel Department medical plan can schedule in-person appointments with Sarah. Each completed appointment with Sarah counts towards the health coaching option to earn your premium reduction! Sarah is able to talk with you about any lifestyle changes you are trying to make such as nutrition, stress management, sleep, tobacco cessation, weight management and more.
Counseling with Anthem Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Providers
EAP providers are at the clinic, by appointment only, on Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Thursdays from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Full-time employees and members of their households can meet with these providers for eight FREE face-to-face visits per issue, per year. To schedule your free appointment, first contact Anthem EAP at (800) 223-7723, option 1 and request in-person counseling with Pamela Ruster or Roger Fisher at the Government Center clinic. Anthem EAP will give you a code to use when scheduling the visits. Once you have the code, schedule an EAP appointment by calling the clinic at (317) 537-9764 or (800) 223-7723, or stop by to schedule in person. Physical Therapy with Tx:Team
Physical therapists will be available at the clinic, by appointment only. State of Indiana employees and dependents covered by the State Personnel Department medical plan can access the service. Appointments are typically 45 to 60 minutes in length and therapy would include:
- patient education to help you understand your condition
- instruction to help you eliminate or reduce symptoms as well as prevent recurrence
- treatment to restore normal posture and body mechanics
- manual techniques to reduce pain and improve mobility
- exercise recommendations to improve flexibility or increase strength

OurHealth Challenge Program
State of Indiana employees have access to a free wellness challenge portal. The portal is available to active full-time and part-time State of Indiana employees, spouses, and dependents over age 18.
Monthly activities are available to challenge your co-workers and family! The program inspires you to take care of your physical, financial, emotional, and work well-being.
In 2020, the Indiana State Personnel Department (INSPD) will sponsor three statewide step challenges where gift card prizes are up for grabs. Use the monthly challenges to get ready for the statewide competitions!
