September is Suicide Prevention Month.

If you or someone you know is struggling emotionally, the Anthem Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is here for you.

EAP is a confidential program that helps connect you to a full range of services, including counseling, legal assistance, and financial help, as well as work-life balance resources and referrals. We are available 24/7 to listen, answer questions, and help you find the support you need.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, suicide ranks among the leading causes of death in the United States. It’s the second leading cause of death for people between the ages of 10 and 34 and the fourth leading cause of death for individuals age 35 to 54. Overall, suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the US.
